What types of fluids can the LDG-SUP-A100 electromagnetic flow meter measure?
It can measure any conductive liquid with a conductivity of ≥ 50 μS/cm, including cooling water, industrial wastewater, acids, and chemical solutions. With a PTFE lining and 316L/Hastelloy electrodes, it offers excellent corrosion resistance. Note: It cannot measure non-conductive fluids such as oil, gas, or ultra-pure/deionized water.
What are the straight pipe run requirements for accurate installation?
To ensure Grade 0.5 (±0.5%) measurement accuracy, we recommend maintaining at least 10D (10x pipe diameter) of straight pipe upstream and at least 5D downstream of the flow meter. Please ensure the measuring pipe is always fully filled with liquid and avoid installing it at the highest point of piping to prevent air bubbles.
What output signals and communication protocols are supported?
The meter comes standard with 4-20mA analog output, RS-485 serial communication (Modbus-RTU protocol), and configurable pulse/frequency output. Active and passive pulse outputs can be easily toggled via the internal DIP switch, enabling seamless integration with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Can this flow meter be installed underground, outdoor, or submerged in water?
Yes. We offer both compact (integrated) and remote (split) designs. The standard compact version has IP65 protection for indoor/outdoor use, while the remote sensor option features IP68 submersible protection (up to 3 meters underwater), making it ideal for flooded inspection wells and underground installations.
Do you support customized connection standards, pipe sizes, or electrode materials?
Yes, full OEM/ODM customization is available. We provide sizes from DN10 to DN300 with flange standards including ANSI B16.5, JIS B2220, GB/T9124, and JB/T81, as well as ISO2852 sanitary tri-clamps. Electrode materials can also be upgraded to Hastelloy B/C, Titanium (Ti), or Tantalum (Ta) for highly corrosive chemicals.
